Ok, so we have spent quite a bit of time in Palma already. We have stayed at Craig’s, we have been in Hotel Saratoga and we have also visited some of Mallorca’s beaches. We have also been to language school. But on Thursday we moved into our own apartment. Rafa and I get our own rooms again! The first photo shows our building. We are on the second and third floors. We will post lots more about Palma. But, the old town is very beautiful and there are lots of cafes and ice cream stores.
You’ll be very pleased to have your own rooms again!
I remember when your Mama and I shared a room there was a line down the middle – one side was orderly and one was more chaotic. You’ll never guess which was mine!
Much love xx
Hi Our Grandchildren, What a time you are having! Can you now understand how old civilisation is? Everyone of similar age belongs to a “generation” and so you two belong to the younger generation and when you grow up you will be of the current generation and when you are our age you will be in the older generation. You are looking at places which people of generations who lived many hundred of years ago built. It makes your head go round if you think of it for too long! Lots, of love from Nana and Granddad.
Lovely to be reminded of how beautiful Palma is . Hard to think you were only about 14 months old Billie when we were there with you last. Popsie & I can still picture you loving ‘water play’ tipping cups & pots & buckets of water for hours. Sorry Raf that you weren’t around then.
Would love to hear how your first few days of school went. I guess it’s going to take a bit of time to get used to, but in a few weeks you won’t be able to imagine not speaking Spanish. I wish I could. xx Mai
