We climbed a fortress in Hvar. It had been built and rebuilt many times. In the 13th Century the town paid for it by selling salt. Raffa has been putting bottles of salt water all over our boat to evaporate the water and make his fortune.

Thank you both for your interesting and sometimes too exciting (the lightening) adventures round Croatia. It’s been special for Popsie & me because we visited quite a few of the places you’ve been to on a Croatian boat which was a lot older and scruffier than yours. We did some biking on the islands too. Sounds as though you’re making the most of the time before school starts – good for you and lots of love. xx
